Light Flex has received a breakthrough order to deliver a patented active printed light system to The Hessen State Police. The Hessen State Police (German: Hessische Polizei) numbers approximately 15,500 police officers.

Bicycles have been part of our city life for a long time and will continue to be so, as more and more people realize the upsides of using muscles for transport, not only for the convenience and well being but also to reduce carbon emission. What is new, are the fleets of e-scooters and other electrified vehicles that have now become an integrated and entangled part of city traffic. However, the intensive use of these is not unproblematic.
May 25, 2020. The German manufacturer Ziegler Textil GmbH presented its Z-PROTECTION collection, designed especially for Police and Emergency personnel with Light Flex Active Light technology, at the GPEC trade fare in February 2020.

October 16, 2019. The company Here 360 has published an interesting article about their work to improve driver safety together with Scania and their C-me vest. Light Flex connects the vest to Internet and collects data that at the end will be analyzed by AI algoritms to find ways to safe lives.
November 2, 2018. Light Flex close cooperation with Scania and their C-me Vest has been nominated the annual CES Innovation Awards program in the product category Wearable Technologies. CES Innovation Awards program celebrates outstanding product design and engineering in brand-new consumer technology products.
September 7, 2018. Light Flex Technology has developed a safety system imbedded in a high-vis vest for the mining industry together with mining giant Boliden. The garments are equipped with worker proximity sensors to alert drivers of mining vehicles of nearby workers in the mines and respond with active light pattern responses on the garments. The garments also use Ericsson’s precise positioning system for worker location & advanced safety management. Moreover, the safety garments enhance worker safety in autonomous vehicle environments.
March 20, 2017. Light Flex appointed “Game Changer of the Year 2017” at the Swedish Mobile Awards 2017. The motivation is as follows:
“Light Flex has brought the tech dimension to the traditional textile industry and created a new fashion tech segment. Printed active light that can be embedded into new and innovative products and solutions has started their global expansion working with leading brands.”
February 14, 2017. On February 8th, 28 out of 450 registered contestants Light Flex was nominated to become the category winner of Innovator of the Year. The decision – which was definitely not easy with respect to the high quality of submitted solutions – was made by an international expert jury.
